Starshine Health provides speech pathology intervention, occupational therapy and physiotherapy for children and adults in the northern suburbs. Starshine Health can provide services to individuals with an NDIS Plan, Medicare and Private Health Insurance. 

The participant’s individual needs will be identified and a plan will be created to best suit them.

We have been working extensively as therapists for many years in areas including early communication, language development, speech sound production, fluency, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, posture, balance, attention, regulation, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and fussy eating.

Nimesha is one of the Directors at Starshine Health. She has a Masters of Speech Pathology.

JJ is one of the Directors at Starshine Health and has a Masters of Occupational Therapy.

Nathan is a Senior physiotherapist and has a Masters of Physiotherapy.

Steven

Steven is a Senior Occupational Therapist. Steven has a Masters of Occupational Therapy.

Madison

Madison is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from Monash University.

Sara

Sara is currently in her final year studying a Masters of Speech Pathology at The University of Melbourne.

Amy

Amy is an Allied Health Assistant. She is currently studying her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Degree at Latrobe University.

OTs work with children and their families, to help enhance skills with independence, learning, playing, drawing, handwriting, getting dressed, and toileting.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists work with children with a wide range of conditions affecting their movement and motor development. They are skilled in assessing and identifying developmental delays and possible underlying conditions and providing advice and interventions to maximise gross motor development and participation.

Speech Pathology

Speech Pathology

Speech Pathologists work with children to develop their communication skills. They will provide assessment and therapy for speech clarity, comprehension, talking, social communication, stuttering, literacy and play.

We offer therapy services in our clinic in Hadfield (13 Geum Street, Hadfield VIC 3046) as well as within the individual’s environment. This includes settings such as their home, kindergarten and/or educational setting. There are also telehealth options available.
